After a successful pilot in Grängesberg, Make Some Noise! we are now providing sessions in Ludvika. No previous music experience is needed.
Children learn about instruments from around the world, rhythm, how to keep a the beat, tempos, dynamics and we also make music together! Making music together can be a great way to build confidence and self-esteem and is also a fun way to learn how to work as part of a group. This course is a great introduction into the enriching world of music, before children begin to learn their first instrument.
We will use the musical book ‘I Am Nefertiti’, as a starting point for classes. It’s an critically acclaimed children’s book that introduces children to 8 instruments from around the world with an empowering theme of belonging and self-empowerment.
We rehearse on Glashuset in Ludvika. On the last day of the course, we will have a informal showing for family.

All materials are included in the course price including a signed copy of I AM NEFERTITI. There are additional resources that can be accessed online to support the course and enrich learning. They will be shared after enrolment. Please bring a water bottle.
No previous experience needed. No audition required. Just the desire to explore music and learn.
All sessions are led in English so some knowledge of the English language is required.
If your child has Special Educational Needs or requires additional support, please let us know when you enrol so that we can be best prepared to meet your child’s needs.
Parents/Guardians are asked to wait outside the room and remain onsite during the session.
Meet Annemarie Anang, a versatile artist and educator making waves in the world of arts and education. She has worked as a teacher for over a decade specialising in Primary Education, SEN, TEFL, music and drama. With a background in the arts, literature and education. Annemarie brings a diverse skill set to her role.
Having honed her craft at the renowned Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, Annemarie has made her mark on both screen and stage, with notable appearances in popular TV shows like TED LASSO. Her theatrical journey has also seen her collaborate regularly with leading international theatre companies, such as innovative PUNCHDRUNK ENRICHMEN, where she has also led choirs, devised theatre and facilitated workshops. In Sweden she has sung with Gramis award-winning artists such as folk musician Sara Parkman as well as Opera på Skäret and was recently appointed Artistic Director of the new CandleLight Studios in Grängesberg.
Originally hailing from London, Annemarie now calls Sweden home. Embracing her new surroundings, she is committed to enriching the cultural landscape and inspiring others through her passion for the arts.
