Berättelsen om tre generationer av en arabisk-judisk familj från Marocko, förmedlad i första person från moderns synvinkel till hennes dotter, filmens regissören. Filmen återger berättelser om deras hemby Oulad Moumen där arabisk-judar och muslimska familjer levde tillsammans i århundraden. En ofta bortglömd och felaktigt framställd historia. Filmen kretsar kring Izza Geninis familjehistoria och berättar om byns delade traditioner, de intima relationerna och den sociala strukturen i samhället och den tragedi som utspelades som ett resultat av fransk koloniala övergrepp som slutligen ledde till familjens exil och liv i diasporan. Izza Geenini använder arkivmaterial, vittnesmål från grannar som stannat kvar och minnen från sina familjemedlemmar för att berätta sin historia.

سنعرض أفلاما روائية ووثائقية من المغرب وفلسطين ومصر ولبنان / عمان من إنتاج المخرجات والمخرجات. لم يتم عرض بعضها في السويد من قبل!

يقدم @ Al-Rayees Konditori وجبات خفيفة فلسطينية أصيلة وقهوة وشاي ، إلخ. - يُسمح بإحضار النزهة!

العودة إلى أولاد مؤمن (1991)

حكاية ثلاثة أجيال لعائلة عربية يهودية من المغرب مروية بضمير المتكلم من وجهة نظر الأم إلى ابنتها المخرجة. يروي الفيلم قصص قريتهم الأصلية، أولاد مؤمن، حيث عاش اليهود العرب والعائلات المسلمة معًا لعدة قرون. تاريخ غالبًا ما يُنسى ويتم تحريفه. يدور الفيلم حول تاريخ عائلة عزا جينيني ويسرد التقاليد المشتركة للقرية، والعلاقات الحميمة والنسيج الاجتماعي للمجتمع، والمحنة التي حلت به والتي أدت إلى الحياة في الغربة. تستخدم عزا جينيني لقطات أرشيفية وشهادات جيرانها في الضيعة اللتي تركتها وذكريات أفراد عائلتها لتسرد قصتها.

 During the month of June, we will show 5 movies outdoors, under a canopy of trees and in a completely new and special place!

All movie screenings are free to the public! 

The program has been created and curated by Nour Hilou and Ansar Bakir.

We will show feature films and documentaries from Morocco, Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon / Oman created by female filmmakers and directors. Some have never been shown in Sweden before! 

@ Al-rayees Konditori will offer authentic Palestinian Knaffa, pasteries, coffee and tea, etc. - Picnic brought is allowed! 

Return to Oulad Moumen (1991) dir. Izza Genini

The story of three generations of an Arab-Jewish family from Morocco told in the first person from the mother's point of view to her daughter, the director. The film recounts stories of their native village of Oulad Moumen where Arab-Jews and Muslim families lived together for centuries. An oft-forgotten and misrepresented history. The film centers around Izza Genini’s family history and recounts the shared traditions of the village, the intimate relations and social fabric of the community, and the misfortune that befell it leading to exile and life in the diaspora. Izza Geenini uses archival footage, the testimonies of neighbors who stayed behind, and the memories of her family members to tell her story.
