This morning/lunch is for you if you're new in Sweden and want to get out into nature and learn more about Swedish traditions.
CONTENT
During the day, our guides from, the Naturbruksgymnasium, in Burträsk will teach you more about the Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten), and in workshops, you will have the opportunity to try making fire with a fire starter, creating "treefeets", brewing coffee over an open flame, and grilling simpler Swedish dishes over a fire. You will also have the chance to take a ride on a snowmobile!
Throughout the day, we from Medborgarskolan will provide information about the offerings we have for you in your free time.
GOOD TO KNOW
A simple lunch over an open fire is included! Please bring clothing suitable for being outdoors for 3 hours. Keep in mind that it can get quite cold! The event is free of charge, but registration is required. Limited spots available!
All guided activities will be conducted in English.
This event is a collaboration between Medborgarskolan and the Naturbruksgymnasium in Burträsk.
Medborgarskolan reserves the right to postpone the course start if there are too few participants or if the weather conditions become unfavorable. Always wait for information/invitation.
