Svenska B1 del 1

In this course, we alternate between grammar and learning the melody and rhythm of the Swedish language. The knowledge you had at the start of the course is deepened and becomes more nuanced.

Our language levels A1-C2 come from the Council of Europe’s framework for languages. This scale is used throughout Europe to describe and assess a person’s language skills, regardless of where they learned a language.

Upon completion of the B1 level, you should be able to have unprepared conversations about topics you are familiar with or that relate to a normal everyday life, such as family, travel, work, etc. You will understand radio and TV programs if they are spoken slowly and clearly, and you will be able to describe experiences, dreams, and your opinions.

Here’s how it works The course takes place once a week for ten weeks, on the same day and time. Any holidays or breaks are decided together with the group and the leader at the first session of the course. The course includes 2x45 minutes per session.

Together with the leader, the teaching is adapted to you and the group’s level of knowledge. Each level will be divided into several sub-courses until the language level is sufficient to move on to B2.

Material Information about which course material to use will be provided in the summons. The cost of materials is not included in the course fee.

For whom? The course is aimed at those who have basic knowledge of Swedish corresponding to the A2 level. You understand and can talk about everyday topics and activities, and you know a number of phrases to describe family and other people, how you live and where you reside, your background, and your work or studies in a simple way.

You will receive a summons to the course about 1-2 weeks before the start of the course. The start date is preliminary and may be moved if necessary. The summons will specify the definitive start date, location, time, and sometimes information about the door code, etc. The course may be canceled if there are not enough participants.

We reserve the right to change the course leader or course location if necessary.

Leader The leader has completed Medborgarskolan’s basic pedagogical course, which is adapted for adult education. Through an educational program, our leaders are given the opportunity for both personal and pedagogical development, an important part of Medborgarskolan’s quality work.

Folkbildning This education is created together in study circles that are driven forward through knowledge exchange. The study circle is the classic course form of the popular education movement and can deal with big and small, local and global issues. It can be conducted at meetings, at a distance, or semi-distance. We at the study association Medborgarskolan give you the opportunity to learn, develop, and exchange experiences and thoughts with other people. Each individual has influence in the group. Within folkbildning, the individual participant can influence the circle’s layout and content following a democratically inspired model.

På denna kurs varvar vi grammatik med att lära sig svenska språkets melodi och rytm. De kunskaper du hade vid kursstart fördjupas och blir mer nyanserade.

Våra språknivåer A1-C2 kommer från Europarådets referensram för språk. Denna skala används i hela Europa för att kunna beskriva och bedöma en persons språkkunskaper oavsett var man lärt sig ett språk.

Vid avklarad B1-nivå ska du oförberett kunna ha samtalt om ämnen som du känner till eller som rör en vanlig vardag om tex familj, resor, arbete mm. Du kommer förstå radio- och tvprogram om det talas långsamt och tydligt och du kommer kunna  beskriva erfarenheter, drömmar och dina åsikter.

Så här går det till
Kursen går en gång i veckan i tio veckor, samma dag och tid. Eventuella lov eller uppehåll bestäms tillsammans i gruppen och med ledaren vid kursens första tillfälle. Kursen omfattar 2x45 minuter per kurstillfälle.

Tillsammans med ledaren anpassas undervisningen till dig och gruppens kunskapsnivå. Varje nivå kommer delas upp i flera delkurser tills språknivån är tillräcklig för att gå vidare till B2.

För vem?
Kursen riktar sig till dig som har grundläggande kunskaper i svenska motsvarande A2-nivå. Du förstår och kan prata om vardagliga ämnen och aktiviteter och du kan ett antal fraser för att på ett enkelt sätt beskriva familj och andra människor, hur du lever och bor, din bakgrund och ditt arbete eller studier.

Du får en kallelse till kursen ca 1-2 veckor innan kursstart. Startdatum är preliminärt och kan vid behov flyttas fram. I kallelsen anges definitiv startdag, plats, tidpunkt och ibland även information om portkod med mera. Kursen kan komma att ställas in om det inte blir tillräckligt många deltagare.

Ledaren har genomgått Medborgarskolans pedagogiska grundkurs som är anpassad för vuxenutbildning. Genom ett utbildningsprogram ges våra ledare möjlighet till såväl personlig som pedagogisk utveckling, en viktig del av Medborgarskolans kvalitetsarbete.

Detta är folkbildning
Folkbildning skapar vi tillsammans i studiecirklar som drivs framåt genom kunskapsutbyte. Studiecirkeln är folkbildningsrörelsens klassiska kursform och kan handla om stort och smått, lokalt och globalt. Den kan genomföras vid träffar, på distans eller semidistans. Vi på studieförbundet Medborgarskolan ger dig möjlighet att lära, utvecklas och utbyta erfarenheter och tankar med andra människor. Varje individ har inflytande i gruppen. Inom folkbildningen kan den enskilde deltagaren påverka cirkelns upplägg och innehåll efter demokratiskt inspirerad modell.
