Commonly purchased skin and body care products often contain toxic ingredients such as parabens, triclosan, thought about making your own skin care? to overcome those obstacles? Embark on this exciting journey with this Herbal Skin Care Course to learn how to make your own products at low cost and with simple and natural ingredients!
You will learn basic skills for making homemade natural skin and body care products via through lectures and workshops, ranging from herbal-infused oils, salves, and creams and much more. At the end om the course you will have enough knowledge to make these products at home. The products made on the course are yours to bring home.

About the course leader
Agnès Brosset is plant ecologist with a PhD degree in plant chemical ecology. She has also been crafting with herbs for 5 years. Agnès has always been enthusiastic about sharing her skills and knowledge about plants, by teaching MSc courses at the University of Eastern Finland and now by offering courses for everyone through Medborgarskolan. She is also a homesteaders and lives her life as sustainable as possible by living totally off grid, foraging, growing vegetables, preserving foods to be more resilient by reducing her dependency to outside sources for food and supplies.
All our course leaders undergo the Medborgarskolan introductory course and are offered a solid internal education program with the opportunity for continued individual development.
Folkbildning
The basic idea of folkbildning is that the participants in collaboration with the course leader learn from each other. The work methods are democratic and engaging and the learning is active. The participants seek and build their own knowledge through dialogue, interaction and reflection with each other. Together with the participants the course leader will adapt the content of the course to suit everyone.
