Through dance, children enhance their physical strength and body control while building self-confidence. Our approach combines playful and engaging exercises designed to develop musicality and inspire creative movement. As children engage their entire bodies, they also improve coordination, balance, and posture.
Content
A ballet course where the joy of movement meets foundational technique. In a safe and inspiring environment, children are introduced to the language of ballet through a structured yet playful approach. We explore basic ballet movements using imaginative exercises, simple steps, rhythmic patterns, and dance games that support motor skill development and musical awareness. This course offers a joyful and nurturing introduction to ballet for young children, helping them discover the delight of moving to music while developing balance, coordination, and body awareness.
Arrangement
• The course covers 5 course sessions (45 min/course session)
• The course is held once a week for 5 weeks
• Same day and time each week
• Any breaks are decided during the course
• Each lesson includes warm-up, technique training and finishing dance moments
Prerequisite
No prior knowledge is required. A course for those who have not danced ballet before.

Course material
Children should wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. To reduce the risk of slipping, we recommend soft ballet shoes or similar non-slip footwear. For younger dancers, a ballet leotard or dance outfit with tights and soft ballet shoes is ideal. These items are available at stores like H&M, Balletshop in Malmö or Stockholm, and various online retailers
Language
The workshop are led in English so some knowledge of the English language is required.

- When all the lessons of the course have passed, you just have to re-register if you want to continue.
